Here at Pawsative Choices, we take the best possible care of your best friend. We provide a loving family stay for your dog, we go the extra mile to discover how your dog enjoys his life at home and apply exactly the same boundaries as you request in the dogs natural home. This ensures the dog will receive the best possible care and attention to make the stay a perfect experience !. We go on two walks a day on a surrounding nature reserve, if the dog can not be walked we will give alternative enrichment through play and activity.

HAVING ISSUES WITH YOUR DOGS BEHAVIOUR

As well as providing the best possible care for the dogs stay, being dog behaviourists we can apply corrective training to remove unwanted behaviour such as anxiety issues, recall training, lead walking, walk to heel, jumping up. Imagine returning from your holiday to a better behaved dog. This of course will be subject to agreement for extra training and appropriate fee.

David at Pawsative Choices looked after my toy poodle for 5 days. I hadn't left her with someone she doesn't know before (she is nearly 4). I was encouraged to meet David and Diane, and also their own dog before deciding whether to leave Millie with him. We went for a walk near his home and I found him very professional and with a real understanding of dog behaviour which was reassuring. David looked after Millie as though she was a member of the family, sending me regular photos and videos so I knew she was happy. I would recommend Pawsative Choices highly. They did a great job with Millie and I came home to a relaxed and happy dog.

Our mini Dachshund, Lily, stayed with David and his wife for a week while we went on holiday. We could of not been anymore happier with the service David and Diane gave. It was literally home from home for Lily. David and Diane listened and noted everything we do at home for Lily to ensure she was as comfortable as possible. We even got updates, photos and videos sent to us on how Lily was doing. Highly recommend this service. Very welcoming and superb professional service. Already looking to book again and use David’s skills to work with Lily’s separation anxiety.

He fit us in quickly and gave us straightforward instructions on how to deal with Yuki's behaviour. After only a few days of implementing his strategies, Yuki was much calmer. We've kept working at it and Yuki is now much better at heel walking too! We have also used Dave's home boarding service. He and his wife look after Yuki as if she is their own puppy! She loves going there; she gets lots of fuss and two walks a day! Dave also sends us plenty of pictures, videos and messages while Yuki is there so we can have peace of mind knowing she is happy and well looked after. Would definitely recommend this service!
