Dog Reactivity

Dog Reactivity can be a traumatic experience for both dog guardian and our dogs. Is the dog being aggressive?. We have to look at the root cause before we put a label on this behaviour. In most cases the dog is acting out of fear and self preservation. They are heading into danger and they can’t deal with the threat, no way of flight because they are tethered to the human by the lead, so the only option is to make themselves as big as possible and react with barking and lunging.
